Alexandra Timm

PT, DPT, OCS, CMTPT/DN

I thoroughly enjoy the problem-solving nature of physical therapy. I love working with each patient to solve their specific problems and set goals that are meaningful, which is a unique process for each individual. As a physical therapist, I feel like we can really meet patients and clients where they are at and come up with a plan to help them achieve their goals.

University of Michigan – Bachelor of Science in Movement Science

Northwestern University – Doctorate of Physical Therapy

Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, Trigger Point Dry Needling Certified, Graston Trained, Pilates Mat and Reformer Trained

Alex enjoys working with patients with any orthopedic issue, and she specializes in working with performing artists and dancers. She has spent her career working with professional dancers, dance students, musicians and theatre performers, both in the clinic and backstage. Specifically, she has worked with the Joffrey Ballet and Academy and Broadway in Chicago. Alex grew up as a dancer and a gymnast, and loves working with younger dancers and athletes to help them achieve their dreams. Alex is a self-proclaimed ‘physical therapy nerd’, but when she isn’t working, she likes to work in her garden, visit national parks, and snuggle with her two kitties.
