    “I like to treat each person as an individual by listening to what drives them, what factors may have impacted recovery in the past, and what I can do in order to help them reach their goals. I strongly advocate for my patients to take control of their ailments, working hard both at home and in the clinic to optimize recovery. I use a functional approach to find the origin of dysfunction and reduce chances of re-injury.

    Personal Interests
    Ashley is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 7 years of experience working closely with athletes, athletic trainers, and coaches at the collegiate level. Ashley also has previous home health care, personal training, and Irish dance teaching experience which helps her understand several different levels of function and rehabilitation. She has a special interest in treating junior athletes, general orthopedic injuries, and post-surgical patients.

    Ashley is certified in the Graston Technique which can accelerate healing of soft tissue injuries and expedite recovery times. She obtained a certification in Applied Functional Sciences in 2014 which helps her examine the body as a whole and find breakdowns in function which may be impacting recovery.

    Ashley grew up as an Irish Dancer and was inspired to become a physical therapist after experiencing her own competitive career-ending injury at age 17. She works in collaboration with Target Training, which provides strength and conditioning for Irish Dancers.  Ashley also acts as a consultant for Irish Dancers when injuries or pain are impacting a dancer’s ability to achieve their goals.
