    Professional Interests

    Gretchen Thompson is an experienced therapist and provides the highest caliber care to her patients with genuine compassion.  While she was raised in Champaign/Urbana, her practice is diversified having worked in Boston, San Francisco, and Chicago.  She has worked with reputable professionals like Dr. Don Chu; former President of the NSCA; and treated professional athletes.

    Gretchen is a University of Illinois Alumni, graduating with highest honors in 2001.  She graduated from Bradley University in Physical Therapy in 2003 and has published her research for Caterpillar Fellowship on Benign Joint Hypermobility Syndrome.

    She is passionate about patient care and offers specializations in Astym, dry needling, TMJ dysfunction, post-op rehab, general orthopedics, headaches, and manual therapy.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and dog, jogging outdoors, traveling, and reading with a cup of tea.
