Kristin Morrison

PT, DPT, COMT, Astym Cert., CMTPT

“As a physical therapist, I have the honor of assisting individuals with finding self-confidence and empowerment through the functional independence of their bodies. There is rarely a hard-pressed fix-all for treatment so it is important for me to utilize an unbiased, holistic approach when partnering with every patient on their journey through healing. It’s a fun and dynamic process I wholeheartedly enjoy.”

Astym® Certified
Certified Orthopedic Manipulative Therapist (COMT)

Kristin Morrison is a graduate from Governors State University. She pursued a career in Physical Therapy as she is a firm believer that our body is our greatest tool. Making this her mantra, it brings her great joy to see patients develop and make functional gains. While Kristin does enjoy physically pushing the limits through comprehensive measures of therapy, she is certain that patient education is just as important.

Kristin remains keen to continued learning as it enables her to provide best care practices and to fully inform her patients. With patient education comes salience which helps with belief in the process and improves the likelihood of seeing gains and achieving goals.

As a new addition to the IMPACT team, she has recently become credentialed in ASTYM® as a means to assess and address soft tissue malformation. As a generalized orthopedic physical therapist, Kristin has passions to grow in the areas of manual therapy and sports medicine with ties to neuro-rehabilitation for the prevention and treatment of injury. She enjoys working with anyone who is truly motivated to reach a level of breakthrough with their dysfunction.
As a lifelong competitor, Kristin has a well-rounded background with basketball, track and field, CrossFit, and most recently— football. In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to her community, suffering from a good laugh, being a donut connoisseur, or being physically competitive.
