Michael is deeply invested in the care of his patients. As a former collegiate pitcher, Michael enjoys working with athletes and guiding them through the
rehabilitation process so they can return to competition. He understands how injuries can have a major impact on athletes’ lives as he has gone through the process himself. Michael has a diverse orthopedic background that includes working frequently with post-op patients, workers’ compensation rehabilitation, and a variety of individuals looking to return to sports or recreational activity.
Michael aims to tailor a treatment plan to align with the values and goals of his patients in order to achieve the best outcomes. His focus is to to set his patients up for long term success beyond the plan of care with education and strategies they can use on their own after therapy is completed. He uses a diverse skill set with exercise and manual therapy as the foundation.
Outside of the clinic, Michael enjoys all things sports, exploring new restaurants in Chicago, and spending time with family. He is easy-going and loves to engage in conversation with patients.
